Moonbat Publishes Jesus-Mohammed 'Gay' Cartoon. Where's The Uproar and Violence?

Read it for yourself here.

Hmm... this cartoon was published last Wednesday, depicting Jesus and Mohammed smooching, something which should be expected to enrage both Christians and Muslims, for it's quite blasphemous and offensive to devout members of both faiths.

The U of T campus paper wasn't pulled from circulation, nor was the cartoon pulled from the paper's website, despite the huge uproar over the Western Standard's publication of Mohammed cartoons and subsequent pulling of the magazine from shelves by retailers out of fear and political correctness.

But this cartoon, a gay-orientated one, mind y'all, is completely allowed and excused? What's up with that? Is offending the gay community by pulling the cartoon worse than offending two of the planet's largest faiths, one of whom is on a worldwide murderous rampage due to such cartoons as we speak?

Oh, wait! I found the offensive cartoon! You can't see Momo's face in the cartoon! But you can see Jesus. Now I get it! Apparently it's okay to offend Christians whereas one cannot offend Muslims? Leave it to a leftist university student to do something like this. I get it. Political correctness is more important than worrying about offending Christians. Never offend Islam; always attack Christianity... that seems to be a value held by the left. And why did the Ottawa Sun get me so worked up over this? Why do they assume the faceless individual is necessarily Momo? Hell, some folks will argue it could be an Islamic woman with a hairy back. The Ottawa Sun made me make a fool of myself. They didn't publish the cartoon. The pussies. I just thought to use Google and there it was.

Anyway, here's the cartoon:

BTW, what about tolerance towards Christians, too? How dare some stupid moonbat fool do a cartoon depicting Jesus as homosexual? That's very, very offensive and it should be pulled and a hate crime charge should be levied against all those responsible for this monstrosity. They're sooo fortunate that Christians don't believe in violence in response to offenses against their religion. They shouldn't have done this cartoon without also having the courage to show Momo's face! I now dare them to depict Mohammed, face visible, as a gay man! And send it to Mohammed Elmasry and to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. No way will they have the courage to do it. But I dare them anyway.

Double standard, I say. That's Canada for ya.

Toronto Sun: you bad! Me mad as hell! Don't be so bloody manipulative again. It makes you look just like the MSM!

Don't worry, folks; although a Christian myself, I'm not going to promote any kind of violence whatsoever in response to this. I have just done what I'm entitled to under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms: express myself freely. If that moonbat at the U of T can do it, so bloody well can I, without being slurred as a bigot of any kind.

Oh, you're really a literalist, aren't you?

Are you that obtuse? hate crimes are against individuals, not ideologies.

And if you really mean this, then you calling people "moonbats" would land you in the same jail cell.

Violence takes many forms. Between robbing a man of an hour of his life and his life exists only a difference in degree.

you can't call someone else a bigot, do the same thing they do, then claim immunity from being called a bigot.

I imagine any non-Islamic persons publicly protesting against any "offensive" cartoon would be arrested by the RCMP and charged by the Crown with generic "disturbing the peace" allegations.

Even in the blogosphere, I find a lot of intolerance of differing viewpoints - not just from Warren Kinsella but also from conservative Canadian bloggers.

The more I have learned about Canada, the more I appreciate living in the (very imperfect) United States.

GOB...again your lunacy shines through. Hate crimes ARE NOT against an individual, they are against a minority/oppressed group.
But I do not expect you to realize the distinction. The same as you totally missed CS's point. Where are the Christians burning, robbing, looting, and beheading? Or do we have to wait almost 6 months after the fact to be "incited" to do this? Remember? The so called "offense" pics were published back in Sept,2005. Only when a "religious" leader took some of them, and added some that weren't even originally published, into a ME country, did any stuff start. And they had all ready been published way back in Sept in those countries, without any problems. Until you guys get a grip on the fact that these are radicals inciting radicals, then it will just continue. But then that suits your paranoid,anti-Bush,anti-American,anti-anything Western agenda to a tee, doesn't it?? That's why you like them so much. They employ the same dirty tricks you guys do.Bah. Aiz...ban this puke immediately. And you know how I feel about banning people!! Except this one has been making the rounds as a true troll, and not even a funny one.

A couple appear incomplete,as you want to use a range on them. They appear to be college pukes, who have access to more then one computer and IP. These are the most hateful, intolerant one's I've seen in the last couple of weeks. must be the warm weather bringing them out...lol

Perhaps their target audience for agitation isn't known for burning down news paper offices and killing editors in retaliation for such non existant provocation.

I personally find nothing offensive in someone expressing a benign opinion no matter how negative....even if it is a sodomite athiest mocking the world's 2 largest belief systems....for me to be agitated to violence by this pointless cartooning I would have to willingly join the ranks of violent intolerant fantics....and this was type of dogmatic fanaticism was frowned upon by my personal saviour, who is depicted in an out of character sacrilege in the cartoon.

I think these editors are safe from reprisals from any real Christian.

That's true. But in the case of a group which is a "darling" of the far left PC coalition, such individuals, Muslims, for eg., are let off the hook most of the time. Rarely are they arrested. Same goes for naked people in gay parades: the cops just look the other way, whereas if a straight woman simply takes her top off on a very sweltering day, she gets arrested.

Our society isn't about equality of all before the law anymore, apparently. It's all dependent on politics, not law, much of the time now, and getting worse. Group membership seems to be considered more important than equality by the left.

I don't think I've ever heard anything more stupid than that.

What. An. Idiot.
