Turkey Award Update - Logo Process

Ever have one of those days?? I get them once in awhile, my daughter ... well - that's another story. She is a teenager after all.

So this was the look I got from her today when I asked her - very nicely too - if she could please finish my Rooster award since it was the only one that was left to complete.

Of course, at 16, one has much better things to do than entertain ones' mother and the "lame old people" (her words - not mine) that visit her blog. (Geesh... 42 is old??).

But she has relinquished... I am sure at a cost (like money for makeup, clothes, just because she has to put up with me.. you know, typical teen requirements).

The product, I am assured, will be finished tonight, which means I can finally get them going. Oh.. and I let her draw the names out so for those lucky enough to have their selection picked, she says you will get to use the award logo at your site for the year.

I may be able to talk her into making an exclusive logo for the grand prize.... but first we have to get her in a better mood!

Stay tuned tomorrow everyone!!

Well...I may take offense to that "old lame people" comment, as soon as I can remember how old I am. Shouldn't be long,so my shrink says anyways.
Oh, and you'd better tell her to move out know, while she still knows everything...LOL
And Bill..you still have yours? Mine ran away some time last summer.

After dealing with three such creatures for now 12 years, I can say there is only one proper way for dealing with teenagers: Lock them up on their 13th birthday. Then on their 20th birthday, take them out. They will be as good as new

Now I am getting hassled about why I haven't posted anything yet. And this is after waiting 4 days to get the final one!

I raised two gals in Vancouver and times were occaisionally bumpy. Like when the oldest almost ran off with our very solid Italian apprentice butcher. You can imagine how healthy that eager young meat-chopper looked. TG

Our Big white Solomon with black accents is about the same size and weight as yours and often sits the same way to do self-maintnance.

Curious; He's neutered, and we have had him for years, yet he just recently did a skunk spray on the hedge. Peeww! Never saw him do that before. Is it possible that nature de-neutered the neutering?

He sure doesn't bahave like a Tom in any way otherwise. TG

Why?..these still fit fine..same size for 16 yrs...not bad...seat not worn out of 'em from too much couch spuddin',,and they do get washed when I put the bike away every winter.

Now chill on the old fart commentary or I'l have to open a can on ya ;-)

BTW: Aizlynn your cat reminds me of a math teacher I had in college...does he drink a lot of English ale?

So, here we are at the red carpet, breathlessly awaiting the EA Turkey awards. Speculation runs rampant. Who will win the coveted Gobblers in each of the main categories? Best performance by a turkey ... Best Turkey adapted from a lower level of government ... Best Supporting Turkey ... and of course, Turkey of the Year!

The technical Turkeys were awarded at a separate ceremony, at another venue, and nobody cared.

Alternate news , reviews and exchanges about Canada going down the tubes in a hand basket is great enjoyment. Can’t get enough.

For some lighter narcissistic fun, navel gazing fun, try:

You can get a quality 4 page report on your website there and I guarantee you will find it interesting.

Most interesting, I find, is where you get to see other sites who have taken an interest in you and said nothing about it.

The report is free, however, if you decide to get serious like Angry, Strong, and Kate, you can get a steady one year watch and report for up to 50 blogsites for about $50 Canadian - $44 American.

I think it’s amazing that you can get these free reports from URLTrends.com. I wonder how much longer that will last? 73s TG

Talkin' 'bout fat cats makes me think of Libranos.

And, Redux, since when does being forty-seven make one an old fart? At thirty-three, I still feel like a little kid, albeit a bald one.

And, for heaven's sake, get some new gitchies! :-)
