Subversion Diversion

We can all assume that the passing of bill C-38 by those self-serving miscreants called MP's will happen today. They will leave no room for debate, even a civilized one. But then again, will any form of debate make a difference?

Having a civilized debate with homosexual activists will never happen in my opinion. They aren't interested, and in fact, are keenly trying to stomp out debate and discussion about this piece of legislation. Why? Because by debating the issue there might have to be some comprise and that isn't something these zealots want.

As one reader noted "Why have a discussion when you can bypass democracy, subvert gov't, the courts and education establishments and use the left-leaning media to steamroll over the majority of Cdns. Compromise is a dirty word to hardcore homosexual activists". - R. Zalischuk

So the subversion diversion tactic will have proved successful for this group to achieve "equality". I suspect that these same tactics will be used by other activist groups in light of today's accomplishments.

Footnote: Homosexuals think what they will have now is "equality" and that will satisfy them, but it won't. Because what they are really looking for is heterosexual "normalcy", which isn't going to happen - unless they change their brain chemistry (and science doesn't appear interested in exploring the chemical reasons why homosexuality occurs).

I've never understood what it is they are trying to accomplish; perhaps, as you say, it is 'normalcy' - but isn't that what they so vehemently declare they already have?

And the steamrolling that has gone on has been appalling. MPs missing their children's graduations, and standing and speaking in a house with maybe 20-30 bothering to show up.

Those a$$holes voted to extend the sitting; the least they could do is grant their colleagues the courtesy of showing up and listening (or pretending to).

This is right on the head. They have"equality",before the courts, pension boards, divorce boards. They only want what all zealots want, complete and utter control over everybody else who is not like them. Why else would they hold a week long "festival" on TO.,if not to shove their way down everybody elses throat.I believe in live and let live, but when you legislate your views against over half the population, you have gone to far.Ever notice how intolerant these groups become when talking about the intolerance of others??

I think the lightbulb came on for me about the whole issue. It isn't about marriage ... it's about the desire to be "normal" sexually. This must mean that they know that they are "are not normal" when comparing their sexuality against heteros.

In my opinion, this is a dumb choice for gays. If they want to celebrate their uniqueness, then why the hell do they want what 95% of the population have - which is heterosexuality ... I don't get it I guess.

Such enlightened thoughts. I might as well scrub a toilet brush across my retina.
