Smart Surfing

Just a wee security note of interest to my fellow blogging travellers.

I entered the Bourque Newswatch site tonight only to encounter asking for my cookie... my my my. Wonder what they want that for??

A good way to control your security is to make sure that you have your cookie setting selected to prompt always. That way you decide who gets to know you.

Safe surfing everyone!

Have always had that setting..and with the right firewall that allows it to "remember" that you have punted that cookie once, the little warning doesn't re-appear,the firewall just automatically punts it..unless you want to visually see each one as they come up...or just refer to the log in your firewall...some sites are incredible in the amount of tracking and spyware they allow!!
