Thank a Vet Today

It's Memorial Day in the U.S. and what better way to pay tribute to ALL of our Vets by saying thank you for the sacrifices they made so we could all be free to life, liberty, personal property, and for the right to share our thoughts and opinions in forums like blogs.

So the next time you complain about your government and do nothing constructive to change the system, you are doing these honourable men and women a disservice.

Listen folks, it costs $7.50 per Canadian to vote. That's all... a measly $7.50 plus 10 minutes of your time. I think the cost to the veterans was a far cry steeper than $7.50 and 10 minutes.

Where would we be if these vets decided that they were too busy and had other things that were more important to do than fight for the freedom you have?. Think about that the next time you complain and do nothing.
